IDRBT Summer Internship Programme (ISIP) - 2026
What is the IDRBT Summer Internship Programme (ISIP)?
The IDRBT Summer Internship Programme (ISIP) offers students an opportunity to enhance their skills while working with India’s premier banking technology institution. The programme enables interns to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, gain exposure to banking and financial technologies, understand professional practices, and develop technical, analytical, and essential workplace skills.
Who can apply?
Students who are closure to the course completion of either of the following programmes may apply:
- Postgraduate programmes in Technology or Management (with a background in IT or allied domains), or
- Four-year undergraduate programmes in IT and allied domains
Applicants must be enrolled in recognised and reputed institutions/colleges in India.
What is the duration of the internship?
The internship will be for a maximum duration of three months.

Registration starts from 23 January 2026 to 15 April 2026
How can students apply?
Eligible students must complete both the following steps:
- Submit the online application form at https://forms.office.com/r/5rsc5GsWiv.
- Email the required documents to isip@idrbt.ac.in with the subject line:
“Application to IDRBT Summer Internship Programme”
The email must include:
- Updated resume
- Scanned copy of the filled, duly signed, and stamped Letter of Recommendation / No-Objection Certificate

Facilities
- Summer trainees are eligible to receive a monthly stipend of ₹14,000/- per month.
- Accommodation facilities specially to out-stationed interns, particularly girls, at IDRBT Staff Quarters, Begumpet, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The Hight performing Interns will be considered for PPO post assessment. The PPO’s duration will be 26 week, on completion of PPO the candidate can be absorbed by IDRBT in a suitable role with appropriate compensation.

When is the application considered complete?
An application will be considered complete and accepted only if:
- The online application form is duly filled and submitted, and
- The email is received with all required documents (CV, SOP, and Letter of Recommendation / No-Objection Certificate), properly completed, signed, and stamped by the appropriate authority.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
What is the selection process?
IDRBT will select a maximum of 10 candidates through the following process:
- Initial shortlisting based on academic performance and Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview
- Online interviews will be conducted on the following dates:
- 02 February 2026
- 20 February 2026
- 13 March 2026
- 20 April 2026
- Selected candidates will be informed via email or phone, along with further joining details.
What important instructions should applicants note?
- All details submitted in the online application will be treated as final; no changes will be permitted after submission.
- IDRBT will not be responsible for consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete information.
- Applicants are advised to apply well before the closing date.
- Educational qualifications must be obtained from recognised institutions in India.
- Graduation marks must be indicated as percentage (up to two decimal places). CGPA/SGPA must be converted to percentage as per institutional norms.
- Candidates may be required to produce a valid Identity Card during the interview.
- No hard copies of applications or certificates need to be sent by post.
- If at any stage a candidate is found ineligible, the candidature will be cancelled.
Is there any additional requirement after selection?
Selected interns are required to submit a Declaration of Secrecy to IDRBT before reporting for the internship.
