Dr. Mamata Vegunta is currently serving as the Regional People Officer (Head of HR) for LPL Financial, India. As a seasoned HR professional with over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience, she has worked in various key management and leadership roles. She has been pivotal in advancing business growth, fulfilling strategic objectives, managing change, shaping high performing culture, and crafting the employee value proposition during her stints with organisations like Development Bank of Singapore, Invesco, Bank of America, and Convergys.

She was earlier Chairperson of the NASSCOM Telangana Regional Council, has served as the Joint Secretary of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council, and as the founding leader for its Women’s Forum. She is now focused on bringing real world practices and experiences into the classroom.

Dr. Mamata has a master’s degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a PhD in HR from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
