The Academic Block of the Institute has three floors and the entire building is air-conditioned. The Executive Development Programmes and Academic courses of the Institute are conducted in the Academic Block, which has all the facilities, including state-of-the-art classrooms-cum-labs, which can accommodate up to 150 participants and also provide hands-on experience on the various topics covered.

The block also houses the six research centres – Centre for AI & ML, Centre for Cyber Security and Data Privacy, Centre for Emerging Networks and Cloud Computing, Centre for Open and Digital Banking, Centre for Quantum Computing, and Centre for Distributed Ledger & Innovation, PGDBT Classrooms, Conference Halls, Board Rooms, Auditoriums, Library, Director’s Office, Faculty Rooms and the Administration.

The Auditoriums, Conference Halls and Research Centres are equipped with the latest audio visual devices. The IDRBT campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has over 150 personal computers hooked to a campus-wide LAN. Uninterrupted Power Supply is ensured through UPS systems and a back up of two powerful Diesel Generator Sets.
