IDRBT Launches IBCART 3.0 - Threat Intel Platform

The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) in collaboration with Quick Heal Technologies Limited, announces launch of IBCART 3.0 (Indian Bank Center for Analysis of Risks and Threats). IBCART 1.0 was launched in 2014 and IBCART 2.0 in 2021. With changing landscape and ecosystem for cyber security, we have revamped the IBCART platform to make it more effective and secure. The salient features of the current version are set out as below:

  • Wider reach and use cases: Availability to a broader set of regulated entities and empowering them proactively mitigate risks.
  • Advanced security controls: Digital Signature based access mechanism for the platform.
  • Contextual and curated threat intel: The richer and contextualized intel is classified, categorized with risk score specifically for the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) sector.

The partnership of IDRBT with Seqrite Labs of Quick Heal for threat intelligence is aimed to create synergy for better and effective cybersecurity solutions. The collaboration would further drive innovation with adoption of merging tools in area of artificial intelligence and learnings.
