The M.Tech (IT) is a four-semester [two year] course designed to contain 14 courses including 2 laboratory courses. In addition, students will have to complete a two semester-long Project Work, which generally is carried out in various Banks and Financial Institutions, which helps the students to gain first hand knowledge of the working of banks as an insider and their specific requirements.

Semester I: Computer Organisation & Operating Systems, Data Structures and Programming, Data Base Management Systems, Computer Networks, Cryptography, Lab-I (Java & Web design)

Semester II: Banking Technology-II, Systems Security, Software Engineering, Electronic Commerce & Payment Systems, Elective – I, Elective – II, Lab – II (Networking)

Semester III & IV: Project Work, which will be done under the supervision of a guide from the Institute/University and also from the respective organizations, if necessary.
