Achievements:
- His seminal work in fingerprint identification led to development of the first automated Fingerprint Identification system in India which was deployed across many state police departments in India and Some police agencies abroad
- Executed many research and development projects including the Map Understanding System, the Digital Watermarking and Electronic Copyright Management System and e-commerce technologies
