With the Indian Banking and Financial Sector riding on technology to make banking a comfort for the common person and to reach the unbanked areas of our country, the need and demand for Banking Technology specialists is on the rise. In order to address this need, one of the key areas of focus of the Institute is to develop fresh technical talent to lead the technology initiatives of the Indian Banking and Financial Sector.
As part of these initiatives, the Institute offers a range of Academic and Research Programmes, designed specifically to meet both the existing and emerging requirements of the Banking and Financial Sector. The Institute is an Associate Institution of the University of Hyderabad (A Central University) and this status enables the Institute to run its own Ph.D Programme. The Institute's M.Tech. in Information Technology (with specialization in Banking Technology and Information Security) is also offered in collaboration with the University of Hyderabad.
