The Academic Block has two floors and the entire building is air-conditioned. The Executive Development Programmes and Academic Courses of the Institute are conducted in the Academic Block, which has all the facilities, including one state-of-the-art classroom-cum-lab which can accommodate upto 45 Participants and also provide hands-on experience on the various topics covered.

The block also houses the M.Tech Classroom, Research Fellows Room, Customer Relationship Management Lab, Security Technologies Lab, Research Labs, Conference Hall, Board Rooms, Auditorium, Library, Director's Office, Faculty Rooms and the Administration.

The Auditorium has a capacity of 160 seats and the Conference Hall can accomodate upto 80 delegates. The Auditorium, Conference Halls and Labs are equipped with the latest audio visual devices.

The IDRBT campus is wi-fi enabled and has over 300 personal computers hooked to a campus-wide LAN. Uninterrupted Power Supply is ensured through UPS systems and a back-up of two powerful Diesel Generator Sets.
